There is an almost limitless list including: walking, climbing, fishing, golfing, boating, rambling, running, horse-riding, cycling, working out of doors etc. |

Can Earmitts be over-printed with our organisation logo, as a business promotional gift (e.g. football club)? |

Generally the answer is no, but fleece versions can accept small logos however it does inevitably flatten the surface and is not recommended. The better solution is to have them embroidered at the manufacturing stage, however this does involve fairly large quantities to be viable. Please look at our Custom Design page for details. |

Will earmitts fit my ears? |

Earmitts will fit most ears very comfortably – one size fits all. We are happy to discuss any exceptionally petite or extremely large ear fittings. |

Earmitts are particularly helpful for many persons who experience discomfort in windy conditions. |

Will my hearing be affected by wearing earmitts? |

A: |
Although Earmitts do contain 3m thinsulate, most users find that there is very little sound reduction, which makes them relatively safer than many heavier muffling products. Thus, it is generally possible to still hear traffic and conversation whilst ‘out and about’. |

Will I be able to use personal earphones whilst wearing earmitts? |

Most people find that they are able to wear the insert earphones that are popular with many mobile forms of auditory equipment. |

Are the colours of earmitts colourfast in everyday use? |

A: |
Whether used in crisp dry or damp and rainy weather earmitts are normally colourfast. |

Can I wash or clean my earmitts? |

A: |
A Earmitts do not often need washing and really should not be frequently washed however if they do need refreshing the process is simple. Use a non-biological detergent or soap-based powder for woollens. Hand Wash in hand-hot warm water and lay them flat to dry in a cool but well ventilated place. We have used Nikwax Loft Tech Wash and Polar Proof on fleece products to restore water-resistance. They also have a range of products for treatment of other materials in our range, which have as yet not been tested by us. Please ask us for information on Nikwax products which we are happy to obtain and supply to our customers.

Will I be able to answer my mobile phone, whilst wearing earmitts? |

A: |
One of the selling features or our product is that whilst they give excellent warmth, they are not made from materials that impair your hearing. For this reason they are not a solution to reducing noise. From a safety point of view it would not be a good idea to stop you hearing traffic or speech whilst wearing them. |
